Hi
You all know me and for those who are new to the club my name is Ian Bamber, I’ve been a member of the club since joining in 2001.I think that being a member of a camera club gives me a lot of enthusiasm and inspiration to do my photography, you meet a lot of likeminded people who can give you idea’s and help in getting the knowledge and different insights of how to get the images you want to do, the camera club has a wealth of information and expertise in all aspects of photography just waiting for you to tap into.
My favourite subject is wildlife but it takes a lot of patience and determination to get the right images or catch the right pose. It means sitting or lying in cold and damp places for hours on end and maybe not getting a shot at all and then coming again the day after to do the same until you get the right shot.
I also like doing portraits trying to get different images by lighting it in different lights but finding the right model is the hardest part, at the moment i rely on my eldest granddaughter to pose for my portraits.
I also dabble a bit in landscape photography as you can see from the few samples that i have selected to exhibit
If you feel that i could help you in anyway please do not hesitate to ask me.
