Spotlight on Club Member Roy Pickering
My photography started many years ago, far too many that I care to remember. I joined the Camera Club in 1972 and was first President in 1978. I gained my ARPS and AFIAP in 1993 and the EFIAP 3 years later in 1996.
My interests vary, but available light portraits and creative work tend to be the foreground of my images, but I am quite attracted to a stunning landscape.
I have had considerable success in both National and International Exhibitions, having had over 800 acceptances and awards, the highlight of which was winning the "FIAP Gold Medal" at the "Austrian Super Circuit" in 2001 with the slide image "Melancholy Blue".
