Syllabus for Summer 2010.
Please note: If the weather is not good we will meet as usual at:-
Feniscowles Methodists Church on Preston Old Rd Blackburn (next to the Fieldings Arms)
We will aim to let members know any change of arrangements by e-mail, or check this syllabus page on the web site before you set off.
June 7th. Reedley Marina ,Barden Lane , Burnley BB12 0DX . The marina is signed from Barden Lane , and for those who know is adjacent to the Barden Mill shopping outlet ( NB - NOT Boundary Mill !!! ) 7pm.
June 14th. Marsden Park ,Walton Lane , Nelson BB9 8BW . The park is at the top of Walton Lane ; take the second entry - the gate with the lion on top ! 7pm.
June 21st. Outdoor portraits – To be arranged. 7pm.
June 28th. The suggestion is for Hebden Bridge. Details to follow shortly 7pm.
July 5th will be to Rivington. We will meet around 7:00 p.m. at the Great House Barn where there is ample car parking and for those who rely on a Sat Nav the post code is BL6 7SB.
July 12th.
Our next Monday evening outing is to the Reebok Stadium Horwich (the home of Bolton Wanderers F C).

Mondays outing will be.
The Singing Tree, Burnley
From Blackburn join the M65 towards Burnley
Exit @ junction 9 and at the main roundabout turn left onto A679 (Accrington Road)
At the traffic lights turn right onto Rossendale Road (A646) TAKE CARE SEVERAL SPEED CAMERAS on this road!!
Continue on this road and at the next set of traffic lights turn right onto Manchester Road (A 682). After a few hundred yards you will see an indian restaurant on your right. Turn left onto Crown Point Road at this point.
Continue on this moorland road until you come to a large car park on your left nearly at the top of the hill. once we have finish here.
Then on to.............
The Halo, Haslingden
Go back to the bottom of the hill and turn left onto Manchester Road (A682) heading for Rawtenstall. going through Clowbridge, Loveclough, and Crawshawbooth, now Burnley Road.
As you approach Rawtenstall there is a petrol filling station on the left and at the next set of traffic lights, turn right signposted Ski Rossendale. (Haslingden Old Road).
Continue past the Ski Centre and over the hill with Haslingden down to your left. As you drop into Haslingden, there is a large mill on your left. You must take the next turn right within a few hundred yards, High Street. If you pass St James Church on your right you have gone too far.
Once you have turned right, you will see a brown tourist information sign for the Halo on your right. Please be aware that this is a narrow road and there may be children playing.
Follow the road and you will find a large car parking area on your left.

To Blackburn
The easiest way back to Blackburn would be to go into Haslingden and follow the Blackburn signs out of town
